A closer look at the stunning Prada fall 2026 shoes.
Brilliant pastel-hued feathers, drippy crystal chandeliers, streamlined Victorian silhouettes and statement socks from your wildest dreams: Prada’s shoes of fall 2026 were some of the most expressive elements of the entire fashion month season.

It’s been an admittedly good year for shoes, but these pieces really take it to the next level. The aforementioned boots, for example lace all the way up and are covered in delicate swan-like feathers. They are reminiscent of something a beautiful Dr. Seussian character might wear. On the other hand, the little kitten heels decked out in ornate crystals and beadwork, with an intentionally distressed heel, look like something a decadent opera singer from the apocalyptic future might wear.
There’s an interesting push and pull factor happening with the shoes in this collection (this concept itself is a Prada house code at this point), and that’s part of what makes them so unique. We see the contrast of something restrictive like a tight little Victorian style boot or a refined kitten heel, with a decidedly embellished technique that feels raw and a little bit impassioned and messy, like intentional glitches in the timeline.
Those feathers–which we predicted to be one of the year’s biggest emerging trends; along with the embroidered beadwork–feel so imperfectly shaped by human hands. Here’s to wearing shoes that feel like a daily dose of glorious dopamine; something to shock you out of the sameness of practical daily life.
