Paris Fashion Week Fall 2026 Diary Day 4: Schiaparelli, Archives & More

Welcome to our new series: an unfiltered, stream of consciousness Paris fashion week fall 2026 diary recounting the real life moments, thoughts, and magical highlights that make the best week of fashion month so interesting.

My outfit today was all sorts of weird Prada I’ve collected over the years, mixed together with Jenny Fax, one of my favorite rising designers who combines childlike wonder with surreal styling. I also wore one of my new vintage bags I picked up the day before.

I went to Roger Vivier where I saw some really amazing thigh-high zebra pony hair boots and briefly took a spin through the archives. Next I went to Off-White, in a beautiful little courtyard where they were serving matcha. The collection was inspired by Miles Davis and had a really cool 1970s feel to it, with some great eyewear and really satisfying grommet details. I had the craziest experience at Rabanne, where an elderly French man stole my seat and started screaming at me. But the collection was stunning. I really appreciated the effort that went into the extremely layered styling and textural ASMR effects: chainmail, sequins, faux fur, prints, knits, brooches, necklaces. Like a warm reminder of how much fun it is to get dressed up and not care about perfection or how anyone else in the world perceives you.

I zoomed over to Cecilie Bahnsen, which is always fun because I love wearing her dresses! And wow, somehow, she’s the only designer on earth who would ever make me want to wear athleticwear. The show took on the form of an aerobic stretch and dance performance, with models sweating it out in objects of my desire: glitter ballet flats, sculptural tutus and hyper embellished hoodies. Dazzlingly beautiful black scintillating maxi dresses!

I need to pause to tell you about the invitation for Schiaparelli, because it was a finger-shaped ring that I’ll treasure forever. Creative director Daniel Roseberry has been doing jewelry as invitations strictly for his couture shows since he took the reigns at the brand; what a treat to now experience it for ready-to-wear. The show had one of the best soundtracks, with a ‘90s inspired raised runway in the dark. There was no final walk, which made me want to see the incredibly intricate fringe skirts, bags with chicken feet and faux taxidermy cat shoes a second, third, and forth time. And there were kitten heels! Roseberry is really creating on a different level—his ready-to-wear can, at times, feel akin to what most designers are doing for couture.

I then left the Carrousel du Louvre where Schiaparelli took place to go to Isabel Marant at Palais de Tokyo. The clothes were cool but I also loved this casting: lots of unusual, beautiful faces with very strong facial features. Matcha ice cream for dinner.
