For Libertine’s spring/summer 2017 collection, designer Johnson Hartig sent models down the runway in coats and jackets covered in pearls, sequins, patches, pins and almost anything else you could ever think of. Standouts included the sequined lip motifs which spilled out strands of pearls, affixed on everything from lapels to underwear–and the hot pink patterned tights paired with simple slides covered in rainbow fur.
At the end of the runway show, the designer himself walked out with all the models and staged a mini dance party–proving that Libertine is always the happiest runway show. Last season, a similar situation occurred, with models dancing and holding picket signs that read, “Buy more Libertine.” See some of my favorite looks from the spring/summer 2017 show below:
