Anastasia Beverly Hills is obviously well-known first and foremost for its brow products. You can’t talk about eyebrow products without immediately gravitating toward the brand. However, it’s been two full years since Anastasia Beverly Hills released a new brow product.
Enter the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pen. New for August 2020, ABH launched the Brow Pen, available in 9 shades. This is a feather-light felt tip pen (vegan bristles) that can be used to create realistic looking hair strokes and texture. It is recommended for those who want something to either touch up spotty areas of missing hair or for those who want to build up bigger brows as you can easily use it to replicate real hair strokes.
As someone who overplucked my brows as a teenager, I knew I need to try this product. I’m someone who switches up my brows a lot – I’ll go from bushy and dark to literally bleached, so I like to experiment and also thought this could help me get a different look.
The first thing you need to know about Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pen if you want to try it, is that you definitely need to shake it to get the product to come out. Maybe even several times during application. The brand even suggests storing it horizontally for best results.
Use it aiming from the bottom of the brow up, and lightly draw little baby strokes as if they were your own hair follicles. You can overdraw the brow (especially in-between the eyes if you’ve over-plucked there) and have it look really natural and fuller. Just make sure you go in the direction of hair growth.
What I really love about the ABH Brow Pen is the fact that it’s so easy to use. You really can’t overdo it because it’s just so natural looking but it builds up to be quite dramatic if you want it to. Also, the pen doesn’t clog or get chalky.
Overall, I would definitely use the ABH Brow Pen for days when I want to make my brows look fuller. It’s much more natural looking than the microwbladed brow look and easy to bring in your purse for on-the-go touch-ups.
